The widow of James Bond star Sir Sean Connery who died on the age of 90 has described his closing moments as she made a heartfelt tribute to her husband.
It was revealed yesterday Hollywood legend Sean died peacefully in his sleep within the Bahamas surrounded by family members.
Now his spouse Micheline, 91, has informed how the actor was blighted by dementia in his closing months and died “peacefully”.
Sir Sean, who discovered fame as the unique James Bond in 1962’s Dr No, had not been seen publicly since 2017.
His second spouse Micheline mentioned his dementia “took a toll on him” and that she was with him in his closing moments.
Michelle, was married to the Oscar-winning star for 45 years, added he was ‘beautiful mannequin of a person’.

The Moroccan-French painter, informed MailOnline: “It was no life for him. He was not capable of specific himself latterly. Not less than he died in his sleep and it was simply so peaceable. I used to be with him on a regular basis and he simply slipped away. It was what he needed.
“He had dementia and it took its toll on him. He obtained his closing want to slip away with none fuss.
“He was beautiful and we had a beautiful life collectively. He was a mannequin of a person. It will be very laborious with out him, I do know that. Nevertheless it couldn’t final for ever and he went peacefully.”
