Sylvain Sylvain, guitarist with New York Dolls, has died aged 69.
His loss of life was introduced by his spouse, Wanda O’Kelley Mizrahi, who shared the information in a Fb publish on Thursday, revealing that he died on Wednesday.
Wanda wrote: “As most of , Sylvain battled most cancers for the previous two and half years.
“Although he fought it valiantly, yesterday he handed away from this illness. Whereas we grieve his loss, we all know that he’s lastly at peace and out of ache.”
She added: “Please crank up his music, mild a candle, say a prayer and let’s ship this lovely doll on his means.”

Rolling Stone has reported that Sylvain can be buried in New York.
Lenny Kaye, who performs guitar for Patti Smith’s band, paid tribute to Sylvain, saying: “His position within the band was as lynchpin, retaining the revolving satellites of his bandmates in precision.
“The New York Dolls heralded the long run, made it straightforward to bounce to.
“From the time I first noticed their poster seem on the wall of Village Oldies in 1972, promoting a residency on the Mercer Lodge up the road, all through their meteoric ascent and capturing star flame-out, the New York Dolls had been the heated core of this music we hail, the band that makes you need to kind a band.”

Sylvain was born Sylvain Mizrahi in Cairo, Egypt, on Valentine’s Day in 1951.
He moved together with his household moved to France, after which New York, the place he later helped discovered the New York Dolls in 1971.
